Who am I?
I live and work in a small village in the province of Antwerp (Belgium), with my husband and my three kids from a previous marriage. I grew up in Westerlo, another small village that still has my heart . I love the ‘everyone knows everyone’ mentality where I live, although I do enjoy escaping for a city trip or a holiday in the south.
I have been writing and making up stories all my life. As a child, I was very good at imagining stories when I played with my favorite Barbie dolls, and once I was a little older, I started writing stories on my laptop. Thanks to my ADHD, there is never a shortage of inspiration.
In addition to romance, smut, suspense, and sometimes morally grey men and dark themes, my books often deal with taboos that I am keen to break. In my own way, I want to spread more love and respect in the world, through my stories, sometimes through my unfiltered words, and very often by opening people’s eyes to situations that encourage them to think. My most important vision? “If everyone is concerned with their own relationships, even those with themselves, then we already have enough to do and should no longer concern ourselves with the relationships of others.”
